Events

This year’s Aluminium Stockholders Association (ASA) Dutch Party was held at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club, Meriden, on October 13th 2011, with 117 attending from member companies and their guests.  The dinner was the 46th in a long line of successful annual events.

After dinner the ASA Golfing Trophies were presented to this year’s winners.

The winner of the Peter Burke Golf Trophy was Mr Barry King (Amari Metals), and the winning team of the SPARKS Golf Trophy was Doré Metal Services, led by Tom Hunter. Congratulations to you all!

Proceeds of this year’s raffle and auction raised an excellent total of £5,201.

Together with proceeds from the ASA Golf Day, this makes a grand total of £19,060 raised for SPARKS this year. SPARKS fund medical research which advances clinical understanding and treatment of conditions affecting babies, children and mums-to-be.

Rounding off the evening we enjoyed a very lively performance from “Tenors/Divas Incognito”.

The ASA Council Meetings will take place from 3.00pm - 6.00pm, followed by the General Meeting and Dinner, on the following dates:
